Bluetooth RTLS
Real-Time Location, Down to the Centimeter
Angle of Arrival direction-finding turns everyday Bluetooth into a precision positioning network — tracking people, assets and vehicles indoors with the accuracy that industry 4.0 demands.
From "roughly in the building" to exactly where
iZitech's Bluetooth RTLS is built on Bluetooth 5.1 Angle of Arrival (AoA) direction-finding. Instead of estimating position from signal strength alone, our anchors read the precise angle a Bluetooth signal arrives from, then convert that angle into a real-world coordinate.
The result is location accuracy down to roughly 10cm — around ten times sharper than traditional Bluetooth proximity tracking — while remaining fully backward compatible with Bluetooth 4.0 tags and standard Bluetooth-enabled phones.
That combination of accuracy, compatibility and low power draw is why AoA has become the positioning method of choice for modern industrial and facility environments.
The anchor measures the phase difference across its antenna array to calculate the exact angle of the incoming signal, then resolves it into an (X, Y, Z) coordinate.
Built to scale from one room to a whole site
The same anchor technology covers a single zone or stitches together into a wide-area location network — the deployment model follows the size of the space, not the other way around.
Single-Anchor Area Positioning
One AoA anchor calculates the heading and pitch angle of a tag's signal to resolve a unique ray from the anchor. Combined with the tag's known height, that ray becomes a precise absolute coordinate — ideal for entrances, gates, workstations and choke points.
Multi-Anchor Spatial Positioning
Multiple anchors are strapped together across a floor plan, each independently calculating a heading angle to the same tag. Combining those angles extends coverage across large facilities while raising overall spatial accuracy — the standard setup for warehouses, plants and mine levels.
Three layers, one location platform
Every iZitech Bluetooth RTLS deployment runs on the same three-layer stack, from the tag on the ground to the dashboard in the control room.
Hardware Layer
Tags attached to people, assets or vehicles transmit a direction-finding signal. AoA anchors mounted around the site pick it up and measure the phase difference across their antenna arrays.
Calculation Layer
Angle readings stream in from every anchor in range. The positioning engine fuses them and resolves each tag's live X, Y and Z coordinate, ready to hand off to the applications above it.
Application Layer
Coordinates power the tools your team actually uses day to day.
